Strengthen the team spirit

Active and fit: organise your own company run “run4kids” and collect donations for our Swiss Children’s Hospice Foundation with a sponsored run. Strengthen the team spirit of your employees, promote their fitness and, above all, have fun running for a good cause.

Before the run

Please contact us in advance if you are planning a company run and would like to donate the proceeds to our foundation. You can reach us on Tel +41 (0) 800 688 886 or by e-mail: info@kinderhospiz-schweiz.ch

We will be happy to provide you with information material/flyers from the Swiss Children’s Hospice Foundation or payment slips, which you can then display at the event or distribute to the sponsors.

You should think about this:

• Win over your management and works council in favour of your idea.
• Motivate your employees and/or colleagues and appoint an organisation team for your “run4kids”. This could be an orienteering run through the forest, a mountain run, a city run or a run around the company premises.
• Look for sponsors who will donate a certain amount per kilometre run or per lap. These can be colleagues, friends or partner companies. The runners record their performance on a “running card” and hand it in to the organisation team. The organising team determines the amount donated and informs the sponsors of the results after the run. The sponsor(s) transfer(s) the sum or instalments to us.
• Please also inform the sponsors of our donation account or issue the payment slips with the request to state a keyword, e.g. “Company xy: run4kids”. This is the only way we can clearly allocate the donations. (Postcheckkonto 85-358174-5, IBAN: CH90 0900 0000 8535 8174 5)
• Alternatively: the management itself donates a fixed amount to us for each lap/kilometre run.
• You can also set up a donation box at the event itself and ask for donations on the spot. You can also order the donation box from us beforehand.
• Remember to display a list of donors next to it. This means that every donor can register and receive a personalised donation receipt from us at a later date.

• We are happy to support you with the organisation/layout of a running shirt with your company, sponsor or foundation logo.

After the run

• We would be delighted if you could transfer the proceeds from the “box” to our donation account after the event. Please also remember to include the purpose of the donation: “Your company xy: run4kids”. At the same time, please also send us the list of donors so that we can acknowledge the individual donations.
• As a company, you will receive a list of the people/sponsors who have made a donation to us on the occasion of the company run after approx. 4 weeks.
• Every donor whose address is known to us will receive a letter of thanks by post. We adhere strictly to the Data Protection Act and assure you that we will not pass on any data to third parties!
