Running for a good cause

You are running for a good cause: Inspire fellow pupils and teachers to take part in a “run4kids” with your school or class! This will strengthen the team spirit of your class, keep you fit and, above all, have a lot of fun running for a good cause.


Important: the sponsors

Sponsors, such as your parents, teachers or local clubs, donate a predetermined amount per kilometre/lap for each runner. The same works with football, handball or basketball tournaments: Every goal is rewarded with a donation to our children’s hospice foundation. At the same time, you could also charge admission to the games and donate this money.


Do not forget:

  • Should there be an invitation/flyer/posters? Then it points out that this is a fundraising campaign: “The proceeds from our “run4kids” event will go to the Swiss Children’s Hospice Foundation.”
  • Please state our donation account and the keyword “run4kids” as the reason for payment in the invitation/ poster. This is the only way we can clearly allocate the donations. (Postcheckkonto 85-358174-5, IBAN: CH90 0900 0000 8535 8174 5)
  • Logo: After consultation with us, you are welcome to use our logo on posters and flyers. After approval, the logo may only be used in the context of the planned and discussed activities.
  • Do you need posters, brochures or payment slips from our foundation? Simply order online!
  • Inform your sponsors, who donate a certain amount per kilometre run or per lap, in advance.
  • Please also inform the sponsors of our donation account or hand out the payment slips with the request to state a keyword, e.g. “Company xy: run4kids”. This is the only way we can clearly allocate the donations. (Postcheckkonto 85-358174-5, IBAN: CH90 0900 0000 8535 8174 5)
  • Put together one or more organisational teams for: Planning/ organisation/ catering/ sponsors…
  • On the day of the event, runners enter their performance on a “running card” and hand it in to the organisation team. The organising team determines the amount donated and informs the sponsors of the results after the run. The sponsor(s) transfer(s) the sum or instalments to us.
  • You can set up a donation box at the run/tournament itself and ask for donations on site. You can also order the donation box from us beforehand.
  • Remember to put out a list of donors. This means that every donor can register and receive a personalised donation receipt from us at a later date.

After the run

  • We would be delighted if you could transfer the proceeds from the “box” to our donation account after the event: Postal cheque account 85-358174-5, IBAN: CH90 0900 0000 8535 8174 5.
  • At the same time, please send us the list of donors so that we can acknowledge the individual donations. Every donor whose address is known to us will receive a letter of thanks by post We adhere strictly to the Data Protection Act and ensure that we do not pass on any data to third parties!
  • If you have any questions or need further support, we are here for you!

After a few weeks you will receive a special thank you letter from us for your great commitment and of course a list of all sponsors & amounts. This way you know exactly how much money you have “raised” – and you can certainly be very proud of yourselves!!!
